Privacy
What we collect, why we collect it, and how to get rid of it.

What we store
Your email address, so you can log in and we can send you a confirmation or a password reset. A display name if you enter one. A hash of your password - never the password itself.
The pads you build and the sounds you upload. Technical logs of page requests, including your IP address, kept to spot problems and abuse.
Why we store it
To provide the service you signed up for, to keep the account secure, and to comply with our legal obligations. Login attempts are recorded to rate-limit password guessing.
Where it is stored
On servers in the European Union. Uploaded sounds are held in EU object storage and are never publicly readable; the browser reaches them through links that expire within minutes.
Analytics
We use analytics on the public pages to understand how the site is used, including which parts of a page get attention and how the pointer moves across it.
This is provided by trackingandtracing.app. It runs on the marketing pages only, not inside the application. Browser-level tracking protection and Do Not Track settings are respected where the provider supports them.
How long we keep it
Your account data for as long as the account exists. Technical logs for thirty days, and records of serious events for six months. Login attempts for ninety days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deleting your account removes your pads and uploads. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Cookies
The application sets one cookie: the session that keeps you logged in. It is not used for advertising and it disappears when you log out.
